Woodlawn Welcomes A New Occupational Nurse Practitioner To Their Team

ROCHESTER — Woodlawn Health is excited to announce that Kyle Sommers has joined their team to fulfill the role of Occupational Nurse Practitioner. Sommers holds her RN from Ivy Tech, Valparaiso.
She went on to get her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University of South Bend, graduating in 2011. In 2023, she completed her Master of Science in nursing from Chamberlain University and became a Family Nurse Practitioner MSN-FNP.
Sommers came to work for Woodlawn in the Emergency Department in 2019-2020. Also, during 2019-2021, she worked as a nurse and then an office manager for 12 occupational health clinics outside the Woodlawn Health family. In 2022, She returned to Woodlawn to complete her clinicals with Gina Moore DNP at the Argos Clinic and returned after graduation in May to her current position.
“I love that Woodlawn is community-focused,” she said.
Sommers will be part of a new service coming soon to the community.
“We are excited to be able to bring Kyle back to work for Woodlawn. She will greatly benefit our community, especially the local employers,” Brad Rogers, COO of Woodlawn Health stated.
