Vernon J. Miller, 70, Nappanee, died at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023, at home.

He was born Aug. 15, 1953. On Oct. 13, 1974, he married JoEllen Hostetler, who survives.

He also is survived by stepsons, David (Chrissy) Hostetler, Nappanee, and Shannon (Chrystal) Bonee, Syracuse; stepdaughter, Connie Bonee, Newport, Va.; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Ferrell, Wakarusa; and brothers, Walter (Martha) Miller, Nappanee, Andrew Miller, Bremen, and Homer (Ann) Miller, Bremen.
