Warsaw’s Magical Meadows Thanks Donors With Dinner
News Release
WARSAW — Supporters of Magical Meadows, a therapeutic horseback riding facility, were celebrated as they gathered at the annual Donor Appreciation Dinner at Magical Meadows on Thursday, Oct. 12.
The Donor Appreciation Dinner is an event to thank the many individuals and businesses in the community that make therapeutic horseback riding possible at Magical Meadows. Attendees enjoyed complimentary appetizers, a gourmet meal, assorted desserts, specialty drinks and were sent home with an appreciation gift box.
Tammy Stackhouse, founder of Magical Meadows, shared her thanks and vision for the future of the facility. “We have seen tremendous growth over the last 15 years and this is because of you,” she said. “Our vision for the future keeps the focus on the riders as we hope to expand our current programs and offerings by breaking ground on additional buildings to continue serving the growing needs we have for therapeutic horseback riding.”
Magical Meadows provides a safe and relaxing atmosphere so riders can experience the healing power of horses. Many first steps, first words and first milestones have been made possible through the customized programs available at the facility for those with physical, cognitive or emotional challenges. Riders are guided by trained staff and volunteers as they experience various riding techniques, activities and games to build trust in the horse and their own abilities.
“The therapy riders’ experience at Magical Meadows allows them to remain excited, challenged and in their element outdoors as they conquer obstacles never before. We want them, and their families, to experience continued healing through the power of horses. Thank you, to each of you, for making these dreams possible,” Stackhouse told the donors.
