Ann Wiesehan Files For Franklin Township Trustee Vacancy

MENTONE — Ann Wiesehan has filed to fill the Franklin Township Trustee vacancy.
Wiesehan has lived in Kosciusko County for 33 years, moving from Fort Wayne after marrying her husband in 1990. Wiesehan served in the US Army Reserves and worked as a military police officer for 10 years.
After moving to Kosciusko County, Wiesehan worked for the prosecutor’s office for many years and owned her own daycare. Currently, she works for the State of Indiana as a field consultant of child support enforcement. In this role, she consults with seven different counties, working with prosecutors’ offices, clerks’ offices and Department of Child Services.
Wiesehan is involved in many different aspects of the community and said she filed in order to be able to contribute more locally to the Mentone area. She is currently the treasurer for the Kosciusko County Republican Women’s Club. She is a past fair board member and has volunteered for several years in the 4H Horse and Pony Club. She also holds the position of precinct committee member and is a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Wiesehan has been married to her husband for 33 years, has two grown sons and two grandchildren.
When asked why she decided to file, she said, “I really care about people and want to be more involved in my community. The people already involved are doing a great job and I just want to help out and become more involved in my community.”
