Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 8:46 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, North SR 19 and West Welch Road, Warsaw. Driver: Carter Hall, 19, Southwood Drive, Warsaw. Hall’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 7:29 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, West SR 14 and South CR 450W, Silver Lake. Driver: Hailie Charles, 16, Park Road, Rochester. Charles’ vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.
• 4:31 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, US 30 and Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Kenneth Huffman, 53, East CR 500N, Van Buren; and Yu Cahng, 21, Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio. Huffman’s vehicle rear ended Cahng’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
• 8:38 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, North SR 13 and East Old Road 30, Pierceton. Driver: Mikel Williaims, 31, Creekside Drive, Friendswood, Texas. Williams’ vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.

Pierceton

Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 8:07 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, South SR 13 and CR 600E, Pierceton. Driver: Chad Williamson, 47, Columbia Street, South Bend. Williamson’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 6:01 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2473 Jalynn St., Warsaw. Driver: Savannah Croussore, 19, Union Street, Warsaw. Croussore claimed an unknown driver side swiped her vehicle, told her to call the cops, then continued to go through the McDonald’s drive-thru and drove away. The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office is still trying to contact the driver. Damage up to $5,000.
• 3:47 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, SR 15 and West CR 350N, Warsaw. Drivers: Shirlee Scholten, 59, North CR 700W, Demotte; and Donald Dustin, 64, West CR 400N, Warsaw. While making a U-turn Scholten’s vehicle struck Dustin’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
• 3:21 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, East CR 250N and North CR 100E, Warsaw. Driver: Julia Wozniak, 74, R2B Lane, Pierceton; and Jacolby Maxwell, 26, Whitmore Drive, Romeoville, Ill. Wozniak’s vehicle caused a collision with Maxwell’s vehicle while turning left. Damage up to $5,000.
