Boyd E. Sheckler, 92, formerly of Nappanee, died at 9:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 2023, at Goshen General Hospital.

He was born April 5, 1931. On Feb. 20, 1954, he married Sandra Michael, who preceded him in death in 2018.

He is survived by six children, Michael Sheckler, Kalamazoo, Mich., Martyn Sheckler, Marysville, Ohio, Kimberlyn (Craig) Nettrour, Sebring, Fla., Kristyn Sheckler-Geiger, Bluffton, Kirk Sheckler, Dearborn, Mich., and Kelli Sheckler-Amsden, Syracuse; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Floyd (Jerrie) Sheckler, South Bend.

Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, is handling arrangements.
