Dutkowski Named Executive Director At Nappanee Chamber

NAPPANEE — The Nappanee Chamber of Commerce board of directors has announced that Bill Dutkowski of Nappanee has been named the new executive director.
Dutkowski comes to the chamber with a very diverse background and experiences. His family has owned multiple restaurants, and is familiar with small business operations. Before moving to Indiana, Dutkowski served as the advancement director at Christian Heritage Academy in the northern suburbs of Chicago, where he oversaw fundraising, admissions, public relations and special events.
Prior to moving to the Chicago area, Dutkowski served as a high school guidance counselor and varsity boys basketball coach at Portsmouth Christian Academy in Dover, N.H. He has also sold radio advertising, and developed operational procedures for an international cell phone company. To round out his diverse background and experiences, Dutkowski also made snow at the local ski area as his college job. When he wasn’t making snow, Bill earned his bachelor of science in psychology and his master’s of arts in organizational leadership at New England College in Henniker, N.H.
Dutkowski and his family are originally from New Hampshire, and relocated to the Midwest in 2007. They have lived in the Wa-Nee school district since 2013 and have lived in Nappanee since 2019. He and his wife, Sharon, have been married for 28 years, and have four children.
Sharon is a professor in the behavioral science department at Grace College, and serves as the transition coordinator for the Elkhart school system.
Alec, 27, and his wife Taelor were married in 2022 and live in Elkhart. Alec is one of the assistant professionals at Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame, and Taelor is the SEC reporting analyst at Patrick Industries.
Matt, 23, is a senior at Taylor University majoring in sports management with minors in coaching and management. He is engaged to be married in June 2024 to Ali Unruh of Meade, Kan.. He also competes on the baseball team.
Alison, 20 is a sophomore at Grace College majoring in elementary education.
Nate, 16, is a junior at NorthWood High School and competes on the baseball team, and serves as a student helper for unified football.
The Dutkowskis attend Living Gospel Church in Nappanee.
