Food Truck Friday Wraps Up 2023 Season With Fall Festival

MILFORD — Food Truck Friday is wrapping up their 2023 season with their second annual Fall Festival 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20 in downtown Milford. Downtown Milford is packed with food trucks and activities.
There is over 15 different food trucks, with menus ranging from wraps, hot dogs, pizza, donuts, egg rolls and tacos. If you crave it, you can find it! The food trucks are lined up on Main and Catherine Streets. There is indoor seating available inside the Milford First Brethren Church gym.
The live music was provided by Fort Wayne-based string band Debutants. Their music is an eclectic mix of Americana with strong influences of bluegrass, soul, folk and rock. The band has two EPs that are available on all streaming platforms. The Debutants are playing in the community parking lot.
The activities are also lined up down Main Street. There are a bunch of free activities to participate in, including: pumpkin painting, sponsored by Graber Steel Specialties; photo booth, sponsored by Mr. Rooter Plumbing of North Central Indiana with the hay provided by Weybright Farms; cornhole, sponsored by Ramsey Designs LLC; s’mores, sponsored by Syracuse Pack 3828; popcorn, sponsored by Lake City Bank and grab bags by VanBuren Township Food Pantry.
In the community center, the Milford Kiwanis is hosting their annual Soup Cook-Off. They have over 20 participants and have soups ranging from potato corn chowder to french onion delight. To warm up from the chilly weather, come in to sample soup and vote for a winner.
