Jerry Ransom, 84, Churubusco passed away peacefully surrounded by family, October 24, following a brief illness.

He was born April 23, 1939 in Harlan.

He met his wife Rita Lenore Fry at CHS and they were married October 1, 1960. She survives.

In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by daughter-in-law Grace Marie (Rob) Ransom and their children Elijah Reed and Lena Sue Ransom, Hollidaysburg, PA; three daughters, Valerie Joleen (Jeff) Coffey; Jerilyn Lenore Ransom; and Vanessa Richelle (Matt) Bock.
