Denver R. Lyons, 86, rural Roann, died at 11:25 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2023, at home.

He was born June 8, 1937. On Nov. 1, 1957, he married Lorain Wheeler, who preceded him in death in 2017.

He is survived by three children, Valerie Dowdal and Brian (Janet) Lyons, both of Roann, and Patty (Rick Stamper) Haupert, Columbia City; daughter-in-law, Cathy Lyons, Roann; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Evelyn Conn, Morehead.
