Warsaw Man Receives 15 Years In Prison For Dealing Meth

WARSAW — A Warsaw man will serve 15 years in prison on two drug dealing charges.
Shaun Michael Sisk, 41, Warsaw, was charged with two counts of dealing methamphetamine, both level 2 felonies, in two separate cases. Eleven additional charges were all dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
Sisk was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court on Monday, Oct. 30.
For each meth dealing charge, Kosciusko Circuit Court Judge Michael Reed sentenced Sisk to 17 1/2 years in the Indiana Department of Correction. Both counts will be served at the same time, with the last 2 1/2 years of the sentence suspended on probation. Sisk has 228 days of jail time credit.
In total, Sisk will serve 15 years in prison and 2 1/2 years on probation.
At sentencing, Defense Attorney Jay Rigdon said Sisk recognized having a long road ahead of him to change as a person and is ready for that challenge.
“I’m ready to become a better person,” said Sisk.
On Feb. 7, an Indiana State Police trooper noticed a vehicle with a driver whose license was suspended prior. Sisk was a passenger in the vehicle.
According to court documents, upon searching the vehicle, the trooper found 31.9 grams of meth. Sisk said the meth belonged to him.
On March 16, the NET 43 Drug Task Force went to Sisk’s home after receiving information about him dealing meth. Upon searching Sisk’s home, officers found 24.5 grams of meth and many empty plastic bags used for packaging substances.

Sisk has prior convictions for possessing marijuana, meth, and syringes.
