BURKET — A man was flown from the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Tuesday morning, Oct. 31.

At approximately 8:01 a.m., Burket Fire and EMS were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident involving a car hitting a pole at 1635 E. 400S, Warsaw.

Soon after, Burket Fire Department arrived on scene and asked for assistance from Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory to help with extrication and also called for a helicopter.

The helicopter landed at 8:31 a.m.

Emergency personnel responding to the scene included Burket Fire, Lutheran EMS, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and Lutheran Air.
