Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, US 30 and Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Diane C. England, 68, Orchard Drive, Warsaw. A witness told police she observed England’s vehicle with its left turn signal on in the oncoming lane of travel on Old Road 30 and stopped at the intersection of US 30. England then drove her vehicle forward into the westbound lanes of US 30 causing vehicles to swerve to avoid the vehicle. She backed out of the westbound lane and when the traffic light turned green for vehicles on Old Road 30, England turned eastbound onto US 30 without yielding to vehicles crossing US 30. England’s vehicle then veered off the right side of US 30 into a ditch at the intersection of Commerce Drive. Damage up to $5,000.
