Three Indiana Small Cities Rank Top 10 On WalletHub’s ‘Best City In America’

INDIANA — WalletHub has recently announced their list of “Best Cities in America,” comparing more than 1,300 U.S. cities with populations between 25,000 to 100,000 based on five key dimensions and over 40 key indicators of livability.
The five key dimensions included affordability, economic health, education and health, quality of life and safety. The key indicators of livability included median household income, job growth, high school graduation rate, average commute time, various businesses per capita and crime rate. Each city was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 meaning the most favorable conditions for small city residents.
Three Indiana small cities made the list’s top 10.
Carmel was ranked the best small city to live in America. Carmel scored a total score of 71.16. Westfield won the number four spot, with a total score of 69.39, just a hair above Fishers. Fishers finished in number five spot with a total score of 69.35.
