Gross, Kruger, Croy, Win Mentone Town Council Seats

MENTONE — Incumbents win the 2023 election with Jill Gross, Shelly Krueger and Timothy Croy returning to their seats on Mentone Town Council.
There were four candidates running in the election:
- Republican, Jill Gross
- Republican, Shelly Krueger
- Democrat, Hannah Beliles
- Democrat, Timothy Croy
With a total of 210 votes, Gross received 59, Krueger received 61, Beliles received 28 and Croy received 62. Beliles lost to incumbent Gross by 31 votes.
Croy said [of winning], “This will be my sixth term here on Mentone Town Council and I am currently finishing 20 years. I appreciate the Mentone community for backing and supporting me all of these years. I am glad to see other people getting involved and wanting to be on the council. We have some exciting things coming for the town such as redoing the park and the Main Street beautification. I cannot thank the community enough and hope to make them happy in my next term.”
Krueger and Gross were unavailable for comments.
