Hanes, Klinefelter, Roberts Win Etna Green Town Council Election

ETNA GREEN — Two incumbents and a new member win Etna Green’s Town Council member seats.
Heath Roberts, Susan Klinefelter and Jason Hanes will now serve on Etna Green’s town council after winning the election on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
There were four candidates running for seats on Town Council:
- Republican, Keith Claassen
- Republican, Jason Hanes
- Republican, Heath Roberts
- Libertarian, Susan Klinefelter
With a total of 183 votes, Claassen received 35, Hanes received 43, Roberts received 50 and Klinefelter received 55. Claasen lost to Hanes by eight votes.
Roberts said, “I am excited to see a bit of change in Etna Green. I am a business owner in Etna Green and am looking forward to bring that to the council. I am also hoping to help move past some of the challenges that have come from some losses of town employees.
Hanes and Klinefelter was unavailable for comment.
