Warsaw Man Arrested For Driving Vehicle After Lifetime License Suspension

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested for driving a vehicle after his driver’s license was suspended for life.
Kenneth William Archer, 52, 717 E. Market St., Warsaw, is charged with operating a vehicle after a lifetime suspension, a level 5 felony; and operating while intoxicated, a class C misdemeanor.
On Nov. 7, a Warsaw Police officer was patrolling on SR 15 when he noticed a vehicle travel left of center and pulled the driver over.
According to court documents, the officer noticed the driver, later identified as Archer, smelled like alcohol. Archer failed two field sobriety tests and registered a 0.17% BrAC on a portable breath test. Certified chemical test results are pending.
Archer’s license status states he is a habitual traffic violator for life following a conviction in Kosciusko County in 2012.
Archer was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Nov. 7.
