WARSAW — The holidays are almost here and most of us are beginning to think about decorations, gifts, special foods and celebrations. The Friends of the Warsaw Community Public Library would like to invite you to celebrate with us this year.
There will be a tree in the library, celebrating all those who have been a bright spot in the lives of others. It is called the “Lights of Love” tree, and you can be a part of this celebration by sponsoring a light on the tree. By submitting your information and donation you can recognize someone special. A tribute card will be placed on the tree for each donation. There are four levels: $10 for a white light small circle, $20 for a white light large circle, $50 for a red light, and $250 for a tree topper.
Information and payment can be mailed to Friends of the Library, 310 E. Main St., Warsaw, IN 46580. Please include your name and address and let us know the name or names of those you’d like to honor. Please let us know if this is in honor of or in memory of the individual. If you would like to include a short message to be printed on the tribute card, please send that as well. Information must be received by Tuesday, Nov. 28, and checks may be made payable to Friends of the Library. Please indicate if you would like a receipt for your donation.
The tree will be dedicated at our December Friends of the Library meeting at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4. All donors are invited to join us for the dedication ceremony. The tree will remain on display until the end of the year.
Who was there in your life who really made a difference? Was there a special teacher or loved one who perhaps helped you learn to read or inspired your love of reading? Honor them this holiday season by supporting the Warsaw Community Public Library through the Friends of the Library Lights of Love Tree.
