Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 4:54 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, East Rochester Street and North Slaybaugh Street, Akron. Driver: Carlos Orduno, 18, Rochester. Orduno’s vehicle hit a tree. CPR was done on scene, but was unsuccessful in resuscitation. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
• 6:40 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 10299 E. SR 14, Akron. Driver: Michelle Shanklin, 48, Rochester. Shanklin’s vehicle hit a deer.
• 6:27 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, SR 17 and West CR 100N, Kewanna. Drivers: Mark Beck, 83, Kewanna; and Blake Plummer, 21, Kewanna. Beck’s vehicle and Plummer’s vehicle were involved in an accident. One of the drivers was flown from the scene.
• 6:33 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, South Meridian Road and East CR 750S, Rochester. Driver: Fayetta Smith, 70, Twelve Mile. Smith’s vehicle hit a concrete post.
• 7:03 p.m. South US 31 and South Wabash Road, Rochester. Driver: Alexander Pittsford, 26, South Bend. Pittsford’s vehicle hit a deer.
• 7:27 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 4275 N. CR 750W, Rochester. Driver: Gary Feece, 68, Winamac. Feece’s vehicle hit a pole.
