Helen Newcomer, 99, Nappanee, a native of Winamac, died at 2:05 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023, at The Waters of Wakarusa.

She was born April 14, 1924. On June 16, 1945, she married Jimmy L. Newcomer, who preceded her in death in 2007.

She is survived by two sons, Terry A. (Sue) Newcomer and Larry L. (Kay) Newcomer, both of Nappanee; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
