Richard Earl “Rich” McIlvain Sr., 75, Winamac, formerly of Medaryville, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, at home.

He was born May 16, 1948. On Nov. 19, 1999, he married Jan Renee Hansell, who survives.

He also is survived by sons, Richard E. “Rich” (Kay) McIlvain Jr., Medaryville, Ronald E. “Ron” (Lori) McIlvain, Medaryville, and Travis J. McIlvain, Winamac; stepsons, Zach Norris, Andy Norris and Sam Norris; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
