Shirley J. Hettinger, 87, Winamac, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023, at Hickory Creek, Winamac.

She was born Dec. 4, 1935. On June 26, 1954, she married Paul E. Hettinger, who survives.

She also is survived by her daughter, Lera (Paul) Mayer, Winamac; son, Paul A. (Michelle) Hettinger, Winamac; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
