Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 6:26 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, East Armstrong Road, east of EMS T25 Lane, Leesburg. Driver: Leann D. Hubbs, 61, South Dixie Drive, North Webster. Hubbs’ vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.
• 6:08 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, South SR 15, south of South Ferguson Road, Warsaw. Driver: Scott L. Eyink, 53, Willow Brook Lane, Hinckley, Ohio. Eyink’s vehicle left the roadway, hitting multiple road signs, a steel post, and a tree. Eyink left the scene and was later located by officers. He was arrested for allegedly operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Damage up to $10,000.
• 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, South SR 13, south of East SR 14, Claypool. Driver: Chase M. Flenar, 40, South CR 350E, Warsaw. Flenar’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 3:29 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, East Epworth Forest Road, west of North CR 975E, North Webster. Driver: Victor J. Waikel, 21, North Perry Drive, Milford. Waikel’s vehicle left the roadway at a 90 degree curve and hit a tree. Waikel was later arrested for allegedly operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He also sustained minor injuries to his face. A passenger in Waikel’s vehicle, Ricardo L. Garcia, 36, North Webster, was pronounced dead at the scene. Damage up to $25,000.
• 11:17 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, East CR 300S, west of South Country Club Road, Warsaw. Driver: Amanda M. Monroe, 38, South Peru Road, Silver Lake. Monroe’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.
• 9:26 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, North CR 500W, north of West CR 400N, Warsaw. Driver: Tayla J. Jones, 21, West CR 550N, Warsaw. Jones’ vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 12:06 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 405 N. Huntington St., south of North Dolan Drive, Syracuse. Driver: David L. Hartup, 59, West Walnut Street, Pierceton. Hartup’s vehicle hit a gas pump. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 1:19 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, East Winona Avenue, near South Scott Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ian M. Anglin, 31, Crescent Drive, Warsaw; and Benjamin F. Friedberg, 42, East Main Street, Warsaw. The trailer on Anglin’s vehicle sideswiped Friedberg’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
• 12:20 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, SR 15, near East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Connie L. Ward, 79, North CR 700W, Warsaw; and Margaret L. Eicher, 34, Claudia Lane, Middlebury. Ward was attempting to change her lane of travel when she sideswiped Eicher’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
• 10:04 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, North SR 15, near East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Luis A. Velazquez, 20, East Levi Lee Road 137, Warsaw; and Michael R. Reiff, 75, East CR 300N, Warsaw. Velazquez’s vehicle ran a red light at the North SR 15 and East Market Street intersection, hitting Reiff’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
• 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, East Market Street, east of Maple Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: unknown. A parked, unoccupied vehicle sustained damage from an unknown driver. Damage up to $1,000.
