SYRACUSE — A garage was destroyed and a house damaged in a fire at 4464 E. CR 1300N, just west of Kern Road.
No one was at home when the fire was reported.
Turkey Creek Fire Territory was called at approximately 11:34 a.m. today, Saturday, Dec. 2. A full assist from Milford Fire Department with tanker and manpower from Tippecanoe Township Fire Territory was requested. The fire was brought under control at 11:54 p.m.
The home is owned by Carolyn Weaver, but was being rented out.
No further information is available.
