WINONA LAKE — The 12th annual KringleFest, hosted by the Winona Lakes Park Department, was attended by hundreds who enjoyed their Saturday afternoon, Dec. 2.
Holly Hummitch, who spends months planning the event, estimated a few hundred had come through the door in the first hour of the 3 1/2 hour event.
There were lines to pet Snow Bell, ride the train around Winona Lake, create a Christmas ornament, get their face painted, visit Santa and get some cookies and Kringle crunch. The chairs were full to watch dancers with Deb Collier’s School of Dance perform and hear the Warsaw High School Choir. Numerous youngsters took advantage of the holiday shop to get their parents a special gift for Christmas.
If you missed this year, plan to attend next year as the event is always geared for the first Saturday in December.
