James Lawrence Newcomer, 64, Goshen, died unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023.

He was born Jan. 12, 1959.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Maria) Newcomer; daughter, Crystal (Dustin) Collins; siblings, Joyce L. Sheets, Vicki Ruth Kiser, Dale Edward Newcomer, Samuel David Newcomer and Priscilla Dawn Mohamed; five grandchildren; and longtime friend, Cecil Bontreger.

Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center, Ligonier, is handling arrangements.
