Dan Alan Thompson, 69, Plymouth, died at 7:54 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, at home.

He was born Jan. 31, 1954. On May 15, 2010, he married Kathleen D. Smith, who survives.

He also is survived by his son, Jason (Kristen) Thompson, Detroit; a grandson; sister, Kay Louise Wallen, Warsaw; brother John Charles (Amy) Thompson, Terre Haute; sisters-in-law, Pamela Thompson and Patricia Thompson; stepsons, Marc (Ashley) Ousley, Avon, Eric Ousley, McCordsville, and Matthew (Leslie) Harrold, Argos; and eight step-grandchildren.
