MILFORD  — The Milford Public Library will have an Adult Reading Club beginning Jan. 2 to March 30. The theme is “Adventure Begins at Your Library.” Sign up at the adult circulation desk. For each book read or listened to, drop a drawing slip in the container. Be sure to put your first and last name and phone number on the slip. Each week they will draw a name from the container and that person will “spin” for a prize on the library Wheel of Adventure. You win what you spin. Sign up today.

LEGO Challenge

The LEGO Challenge for January is to build a snowflake. The last chance to email your photo to [email protected] is by 2 p.m. Jan. 27. If you win, you get a new LEGO kit.

Winter Story Time

Winter Story Time begins Feb. 7. They will have sessions at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. All children ages 3-6 are invited to participate. Sign-up begins Jan 15. Themes are: Let’s Hibernate!; Valentine’s Day; ICE; and SNOW: Dr. Seuss and Dinosaurs.

Story time lasts about 45 minutes. There are wonderful stories to listen to, crafts to make and snacks to share. Miss Jenny will help your child develop good listening skills and give your child a good introduction to the library and how to find books they are interested in. If your family attends three of the six winter story time sessions, you earn a new book for your home library. New families are welcome.
