Plymouth Man Arrested After Police Chase

MARSHALL COUNTY — Brandon Craft, 36, Plymouth, was arrested on multiple charges after leading police on a chase Friday evening, Dec. 29.
Craft has been charged with resisting law enforcement with a vehicle and reckless driving. Additionally, he was arrested on active warrants through Marshall County for intimidation, residential entry, invasion of privacy, interference with reporting of a crime and criminal mischief.
At approximately 6:20 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, Marshall County Sheriff Department deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop with a vehicle in the area of Oak Road and Ritter Street in Plymouth, when the vehicle failed to yield and took off from police at a high rate of speed.
The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Craft, failed to yield to police for the next 48 minutes as a multi-jurisdictional vehicle pursuit ensued that traveled into Fulton and Cass counties before the vehicle came to a stop in the area of CR 950S and CR 300W in Fulton County.
Craft was taken into custody without further incident. He was taken to the Marshall County Jail.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Plymouth Police Department, Fulton, Pulaski and Cass county sheriff’s departments and Indiana State Police.
Craft’s bond was $25,000 on the warrants and an additional $10,000 on the new charges.
