Area Police Reports
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
- 4:02 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2000 block Sweetgum Road, Rochester. A resident came on station and reported he needed to speak to someone regarding something that was going to happen tomorrow. He stated he is being told he won something from Publishers Clearing House. He was advised to call if he needed anything.
- 6:50 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 200 block South Maple Street, Akron. A resident reported two guys came to her door requesting to speak to someone now they are shining flashlights in neighbors houses. Gave a description. Police checked the area, and learned the individuals are giving a window estimate to a neighbor and they went to the wrong house. The caller was notified of what was happening.
- 4:52 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 6000 block North Sunset Boulevard, Macy. Police were notified that an individual has had the complainants truck to work on since last year. The truck owner showed up three weeks ago to wheels, tires, radio, lights missing from the vehicle. The owner came to pick up the truck today and the truck is gone.
- 3:21 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 7000 block CR 500N, Rochester. A caller reported she spoke to an officer a while back about somebody driving through her yard. She went into her shop to use the air compressor and found that somebody has wiped it out and nearly everything is missing.
