Volunteers:
What to expect:
- Attendees will be given a program upon entry and encouraged to watch a short video in the Miller Auditorium to see what our organizations have to offer.
- Pick up some complimentary snacks and a beverages as you visit tables of the organizations you are interested in working with.
- Mingle with other volunteers throughout the evening, and get to know your fellow community members who are making a difference.
- Attendees will be given raffle tickets from each of the tables they sign up to volunteer with that evening. At the end of the night each organization will draw a name(s) for their prize(s) and contact the individual to make arrangements to drop off/pick up the prize.
- Come and go as you please!
Organizations:
Registration closes Monday, Jan. 8.
How this will benefit your organization:
- Information Table: your organization will be provided a table, where you can meet and greet potential volunteers, sign up interested individuals, and pass out your swag.
- Video Presentation – send us a 1 minute video commercial that we will have looping on the main screen and throughout the theater. You’ll have the opportunity to tell attendees exactly what you are looking for in a volunteer or what kinds of services you provide. Specifications will be provided upon registration.
- Advertising – your logo will be included on event flyers, event website postings, and event facebook pages. We will also list your organization name, contact person, email and phone numbers, and your organization’s mission in a program that will be provided to each attendee.
- List of Participants – After the event we will provide you with a list of participants, their contact information and what types of volunteer opportunities they are interested in.
How you can contribute:
- Table Sponsors – we are asking For-Profit organizations to make a $50 contribution help cover the cost of snacks and beverages.
- Raffle Prize Donations – we would like everyone to bring something that can be used as a raffle prize! It can be anything from a $5 gift card to a local establishment, a T-shirt or mug with your logo to a whole $50 gift basket themed of your choice.
