PLYMOUTH — A Plymouth man was recently arrested for allegedly robbing a man and stealing money from him.

Kelly J. Cowger Jr., 40, 404 Clark St., Plymouth, is charged with robbery, a level 5 felony.

On Dec. 2, 2023, Plymouth Police officers responded to the Economy Inn regarding a fight. Upon arrival, officers saw a man with head and leg injuries.

According to court documents, the man said Cowger hit him in the face and didn’t know why. Cowger took $120 from the man and left the scene.

The man was taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center for his injuries.

Cowger was booked in the Marshall County Jail on Dec. 31, 2023.
