Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:

• 1:56 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 1300 block Franklin Street, Rochester. A man reported he went to the bar and when he came home his kids were gone. He told police a roommate gave the grandparents permission to take them. He would like to speak to an officer about what he can do about it. Approximately 15 minutes later a officer reported the kids are safe at the grandparents house. The male caller was advised of his options and advised to wait until he sobers up.
• 4:39 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 6000 block South Birch Lane, Rochester. A man called requested to speak with an officer reference he is renting a camper and the owner of the lot has placed a protective order on him with a hearing set for the end of the month. An officer contacted him and advised there was not an active protective order in place. The man stated he was going to gather some things and leave anyway.
• 12:58 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, SR 14 and CR 100S, Akron. Police were notified that east of Akron there was a white long haired dog with a fence or gate wrapped around its neck. An officer went to the location.
