Kosciusko Cares Offering Free Strengthening Families Program
News Release
WARSAW — Kosciusko Cares will be presenting a free, 14-week Strengthening Families Program.
The goal of the program is to help families build communication and relationships by learning: strategies to manage conflict, stress and anger; how to communicate and solve problems; how to celebrate family and individual strengths; and how to develop relationships between caregivers and children. Strengthening Families also serves as a substance use prevention program.
Sessions, which include a free meal, will be held from 6-8 p.m. Mondays starting Feb. 5 and continuing through May 6 at Valley Springs Fellowship, 345 N. 175E, Warsaw. Each evening’s schedule includes family dinner from 6-6:30 p.m.; a breakout session for all ages, baby to adult, from 6:30-7:15; and family activity time from 7:15-8.
A Spanish interpreter will be available is needed.
