Housing Authority Moves To Office On Higbee Street In Milford
News Release
WARSAW — North Central Indiana Housing has moved to a new location.
The agency is still located in Milford but has downsized to a smaller office at 301 N. Higbee St., in the same building as Phoenix Tax Service, the building right behind Mr. Rooter on the west side of SR 15.
North Central Indiana Housing serves the city of Warsaw and the city of Goshen, administering rental assistance to low- to moderate-income families with housing choice vouchers. The agency is known to some as the Warsaw Housing Authority or the Goshen Housing Authority.
The agency moved to Milford more than 10 years ago and rented from the Milford Public Library on Catherine Street. It was a great partnership, according to Pam Kennedy, executive director of North Central Indiana Housing.
“Milford has proven to be a great location as it is located halfway between Goshen and Warsaw,” Kennedy said in a news release. But the agency does “not need so much space and with our economic times, it was time to look at other options” for less office space, she said.
Office hours will continue to be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
