Warsaw Community Schools Announce 4th Annual ‘We Are Tigers’ Athletic Auction And Dinner

WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools is thrilled to announce the fourth annual “We Are Tigers” Athletic Auction & Dinner, including the prestigious third Hall of Fame Induction Class, scheduled to take place in the Warsaw Community High School Tiger Den on Thursday, Feb. 22. This hallmark event celebrates WCS’ athletic heritage, fosters community spirit and raises essential funds for our dedicated athletic teams.
Event Highlights
- Fundraising Efforts: All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the participating Athletic Teams, with 10% of revenue allocated for Senior Banners.
- Special Focus: This year’s “Paddle Raise” is dedicated to supporting “Team Bonding” expenses, fostering unity and camaraderie among our athletes.
- Hall of Fame Induction: The event proudly inducts one team and nine distinguished individuals into the 3rd Hall of Fame class, honoring their remarkable contributions to our sports legacy. View the inductees here.
Ticket Information
- General Admission: Adults can purchase tickets at $7, providing access to upper deck seating, a preview of online auction items, and eligibility for raffle prizes. Tickets are available for purchase by teams and at the door.
- Free Admission for Students: All students (K-12) are invited to attend free of charge, emphasizing WCS’ commitment to inclusivity and community engagement.
- Premium Seating: Reserved tables (seating eight) and individual tickets, including a catered dinner by Foodology, are available for purchase here.
Online Auction
- Bidding Schedule: Online bidding opens at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, and concludes at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22. Start bidding on your favorite items here.
- Matching Donations: The Athletic Department, along with Dr. David Hoffert, superintendent and the school board, will match all team bonding/scholarship donations up to $1,000 for each program.
- Exclusive In-Person Bids: Additional auction items will be exclusively available for in-person bidding to attendees seated at tables.
Post-Event Details
- Item Pickup: Auction items can be collected at the WCHS Athletic Office between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23and during the following week. For larger items, alternative pick-up locations may apply.
