Area Police Reports
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
- 3:09 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, North US 31 and West Third Street, Rochester. A caller reported a semitrailer parked on an overpass. An officer spoke to the driver, who advised they were pulled over to rest. The officer advised the driver of a truck stop for him to rest at.
- 10:56 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, West SR 114 and South CR 250W, Rochester. A caller reported smelling propane when they drove by. An officer called NIPSCO, who advised they were sending a truck from Rochester.
- 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, North SR 17 and West CR 700N, Culver. A caller reported a vehicle on the side of the road. The driver advised they had someone on the way.
- 8:46 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 6000 block North 1000W, Culver. Officers responded to a call of a domestic fight.
- 4:55 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 11000 block West CR 75N, Kewanna. A caller reported four black cows were standing by the roadway. An officer made contact with the owner, who got the cows inside.
- 3:46 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 1000 block East CR 350N, Rochester. A caller reported a driver in a blue SUV was acting suspiciously and that there were beer cans on the ground in the area.
- 3:29 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, North Old US 31 and East SR 110, Rochester. A white Nissan was reported driving recklessly.
- 1:47 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, SR 25 and CR 125S, no town listed. A caller reported a disabled vehicle. The driver advised that they had help on the way.
- 1:05 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 5000 block Wabash Street, Rochester. A caller reported a red pickup hit her mailbox.
- 12:54 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, North US 31 and East CR 600N, Rochester. A caller reported a disabled vehicle. An officer spoke with the driver, who said they were stopped to rest.
- 12:18 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, West SR 110 and North 250W, Rochester. A caller reported a deer needed to be put down and that he wanted a permit.
- 10:53 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 200 block McDonald Drive, Rochester. A caller reported smelling something burning in the lobby of a Super-Eight.
- 8:06 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 6000 block A Street, Rochester. A caller reported that three dogs were not being taken care of.
