Several Businesses, Individuals Receive Awards At 112th Annual Chamber Awards Dinner

WINONA LAKE — Multiple individuals and businesses received awards at the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce’s 112th annual chamber awards dinner on Thursday, Jan. 25.
The event was held in Grace College’s Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center in Winona Lake.
Kosciusko County business professionals, along with local and state elected officials, were in attendance.
Major sponsors for the event included 1st Source Bank, Blue River Digital, Bowen Health Clinic, Core Mechanical Services, DreamOn Studios, Grace College & Seminary, Lutheran Health Network, Maple Leaf Farms, Robinson Construction, Silveus Insurance Group, SYM Financial Advisors, Wildman, and Winona IT.
The evening’s keynote speaker was Zimmer Biomet CEO Ivan Tornos, who was interviewed by Lake City Bank President and Chief Executive Officer David Findlay.

Legacy Impact
Warsaw Cut Glass Company received the Legacy Impact Award for operating in Warsaw for over 100 years.
LaunchPad Family Friendly Business
This award is given to a business that works toward providing innovative and creative solutions to support their employees’ family and childcare needs. The 2023 winner was Polywood.
Main Street Impact
This award is given to a business or individual/business owner who has made a significant impact on downtown Warsaw. The 2023 winner was Male Fashions.
Making A Difference
This award is presented to a business, non-profit, or service organization that has made a significant impact on Kosciusko County. The 2023 winner was Wildman.
Rising Star
This award celebrates Kosciusko County’s highest performing new companies and recognizes those that have exceeded initial targets for growth and financial performance. They have demonstrated an understanding of their competitors, customers, and the markets they operate in, and have the foundations in place for continued commercial success. The 2023 winner was Lake City Gymnastics.
Community Development
This award is presented to a Kosciusko County business in recognition of their outstanding contribution to community development in Kosciusko County. This award highlights innovative ideas that enhance and contribute to the forward progress in the community and those who support it. The 2023 winner was Robinson Construction.
Business Of The Year
This award lauds a Kosciusko County business that has exhibited exemplary leadership, business growth and service to the community. This recipient is recognized as a leader in the business community and as serving as a positive example of business practice. The 2023 winner was Zimmer Biomet.
Ambassadors Of The Year
This award is given to a Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce ambassador based on event attendance and level of commitment to the Chamber and its members. For 2023, two people received the award. Shawn Brown with Lake City Living and Chad Hummel with Silveus Insurance Group were recognized as the 2023 Ambassadors of The Year.
Young Adult Professional Of The Year
This award is presented to an individual under the age of 40 who has achieved success and excellence in their field and has demonstrated leadership, initiative and dedication in pursuing their careers and commitments outside of work. The 2023 winner was Josh Silveus.
Government Excellence
This award is given to a government official or government employee who has performed a particular service or overall effectiveness in office on behalf of residents within Kosciusko County, is currently an employee or in any level of government office, or has been out of office no more than two years and has demonstrated commitment to supporting businesses. The 2023 winner was Indiana State Rep. Craig Snow.
Georgia Tenney and Dr. Terry White were honored as the 2023 Woman and Man of the Year, respectively.
