Elsie Mae (Miller) Beachy, Nappanee, died peacefully in her home on Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, after a series of strokes caused her health to deteriorate rapidly.

Elsie was born on Aug. 31, 1944. On Sept. 5, 1964, she married Roy S. Beachy.

Survivors include her brother, Willard Miller, New Philadelphia, Ohio; her loving husband, Roy; her children, Maria (Lawrence) Weaver, New Paris, Sara (David) Miller, Maysville, W.Va., Lena (Daryl) Hershberger, New Paris, Joel (Rebecca) Beachy, Charlevoix, Mich., Jason (Judy) Beachy, Nappanee, Judah (Melessa) Beachy, Shipshewana, Sylvia (Chris) Stoltzfus, Lancaster, Pa., and Lorna (Richard) Troyer, Monterey, Tenn.; 27 grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
