Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 3:54 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, East South Street, west of East Huntington Street, North Webster. Drivers: Timothy D. Collins, 64, EMS W17C Lane, North Webster; and Hudson A. Bonner, 20, East CR 450N, Leesburg. Collins was backing his vehicle from a parking space when he hit Bonner’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
• 10:40 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, East CR 450N, near EMS B39W Lane, Leesburg. Driver: Devin S. Gritton, 25, North Michigan Street Apartment 4, Plymouth. Gritton’s vehicle left the roadway and entered a steep ditch. Gritton was taken to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital for general pain. Damage up to $10,000.
• 9:46 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, East SR 14, near South CR 300E, Silver Lake. Driver: Meyo S. Carrillo, 33, South County Farm Road, Silver Lake. Carrillo’s vehicle left the roadway and became stuck in a cornfield. Damage up to $2,500.
• 9:36 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, South SR 13, south of East CR 1150S, Claypool. Drivers: Dennis L. Houser, 68, North Walnut Street, North Manchester; and Jeffery W. Price, 51, East CR 600N, Peru. Houser’s vehicle slid on the roadway due to icy conditions and hit Price’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
• 9:26 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, North Old SR 15, south of West CR 800N, Leesburg. Driver: Taylor Fraley, 21, North CR 100E, Milford. Fraley’s vehicle left the roadway, hitting a Nipsco utility pole. Damage up to $25,000.
• 6:22 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, SR 13, near CR 400N, North Webster. Driver: Shelby L. Ault, 27, West Warren Street, Silver Lake. Ault’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.
• 7:53 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, West Crystal Lake Road, east of South CR 500W, Warsaw. Driver: Sauveur Victor, 34, Kuder Lane, Warsaw. Victor’s vehicle left the roadway, hitting three headstones and a fence at Union Cemetery. Victor complained of right shoulder pain and was treated by medics at the scene. Damage up to $50,000.
• 11:27 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, CR 1300N, east of CR 250E, Syracuse. Drivers: Jessica Rassi, 42, North CR 300E, Syracuse; and Erika Bias, 28, Edgewood Drive, Warsaw. Rassi lost control of her vehicle due to icy conditions and hit Bias’ vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
• 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, Old SR 15, near Van Buren Street, Leesburg. Driver: Charles Jones, 78, EMS D17 Lane, Syracuse. Jones’ vehicle left the roadway due to icy conditions and overturned. Jones sustained minor head injuries. Damage up to $10,000.
