PIERCETON — An SUV driver was injured after her vehicle hit a house northwest of Pierceton.

Around 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, Pierceton Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle hitting a trailer on 4707 E. CR 100S. A Kosciusko County Sheriff’s deputy said an occupant in the home at the time of the accident was uninjured.

The collision resulted in the structure being knocked from its foundation. American Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the home’s occupant.

Assisting agencies included Lutheran EMS, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and Pierceton Police Department.
