UPDATE: Driver Suffers Minor Injuries After Hitting House Near Pierceton

PIERCETON — One person suffered minor injuries after their vehicle hit a house northwest of Pierceton.
At 2:47 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, Pierceton Fire Department responded to a vehicle that had crashed into a residence at 4207 E. 100S.
According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office report, Ashley L. Mullins, 35, Pierceton, turned left off of East CR 100S to travel into a private drive and blacked out. Mullins’ vehicle continued southbound and collided with a mobile home. The resident, Charlotte Lovett, was inside the house at the time of the accident and was uninjured.
Mullins reported she was unsure what caused her to blackout. She suffered from a minor head injury and bleeding after she hit the vehicle’s windshield. Mullins was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Damages are estimated up to $25,000.
