Milford Public Library — Adventure Begins At Your Library
News Release
MILFORD — Stop by Milford Public Library and sign up for the Adult Reading Club. The library will have weekly drawings for a prize through March 30. If you are 18 years of age or older, you can sign up. For each book you read or e-book or audio book you listen to, you can drop a drawing slip in the container on the desk. Each week the library staff will draw a name at 6 p.m. Friday. That person will be invited to come in and spin the “Wheel of Adventure” to determine their prize.
Winter Story Time
Next week is the first week of Winter Story Time. Children ages 3-6 are invited to come and bring a friend. The theme is “Let’s Hibernate!” Do you hibernate? Can you name some animals that hibernate? Listen to “Time to Sleep” by Denise Fleming and some other stories. Make a paper bag bear craft puppet and enjoy the snack of Teddy Grams. If you and your family attend at least three of the six sessions of Winter Story Time, you will earn a new book to take home and add to your home library. Story time is at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday..
