John Henry Schwartz, 81, Cleveland Township, Whitley County, died Saturday evening, Feb. 3, 2024, at home.

He was born Nov. 26, 1942. On Sept. 13, 1962, he married Margaret Schwartz, who preceded him in death in 2022.

He is survived by his children, James (Sheila) Shwartz, David (Mary) Schwartz, Amanda (Amos) Yoder, Andrew (Eileen) Schwartz, Victor (Noami) Schwartz, Sarah (Noah) Hilty, Rebecca (Eddie) Miller, Annamae (Ernie) Miller, Wilma (Lavern) Steury and John Henry (Laura) Schwartz; 58 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Clara (Jesse) Graber, Michael (Margaret) Schwartz, Rosa (Jonas) Zehr, Sarah (Edwin) Schmucker, Amos (Emma) Schwartz, Mary (Jacob) Miller, Anna (Jacob) Schwartz, Susan (Joe) Steury and David (Bernice) Schwartz.
