Donald Miller Files For Claypool Town Council Seat Following Vacancy

CLAYPOOL — Former Claypool Town Council member Donald Miller has filed to fill the current vacancy on the council.
Nate Morton, a Republican and town council member who was newly elected to serve in November 2023, recently submitted his resignation effective immediately.
Miller has lived in Claypool for 42 years and previously served on the council for 18 years until December 2015.
Miller said he was approached about the vacancy and decided to step in and help out.
“I want to help the community’s infrastructure get taken care of and want to see the spirit in the community improve,” said Miller. “If I can help out, I will.”
The appointment to fill the council’s vacant seat will be made at the Kosciusko County Clerk’s Office in Warsaw at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14.
