David Ray Watkins, 66, Columbia City, died at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024, at Parkview Randallia, Fort Wayne.

He was born Oct. 3, 1957. On May 8, 2004, he married Teresa Link, who survives.

He also is survived by his children, Andrew R. (Jasmine Weir) Watkins and Amanda R. (Matthew Swindell) Watkins, both of Columbia City; stepchildren, Christopher (Nicole) Bogner, Fort Wayne, and Brenden (Adela Haroulakis) Bogner, Columbia City; nine grandchildren; sisters, Sherri (Glenn) Beauvais, Battle Creek, Mich., and Lisa (James) Young, Fort Wayne; two nieces; and a nephew.

Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City, is handling arrangements.
