Robert E. Wrzesien Jr., 55, South Bend, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital, Westerville, Ohio.

He was born Sept. 7, 1968. On Jan. 24, 2024, he married Kathryn Wrzesien, who survives.

He also is survived by his daughter, Catherine Wrzesien, Indianapolis; stepdaughter, Ella Muffley, Plymouth; sons, Dylen (Isabella) Wrzesien, Nappanee, and Tyler Holderman, South Bend; stepson, John Muffley, Plymouth; sister, Robin Hill, South Bend; two grandchildren; and numerous adoptive and foster children.

Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home, Plymouth, is handling arrangements.
