SYRACUSE — Turkey Creek Fire Territory responded to a garage fire Saturday night, Feb. 17.

Firefighters were called out before 6 p.m. to the fire at 9032 E. Morrison Island Road, Syracuse.

TCFT Battalion Chief Bob Tinkey said it took around 10 minutes to put the fire out. Tippecanoe Township Fire Territory was called to assist.

No one was injured in the fire, said Tinkey.

According to Kosciusko County’s Beacon GIS, the property is owned by David P. Irmscher.
