Easter Plans For Atwood Otterbein Church

ATWOOD — Pastor David Banning has outlined Easter celebration plans for the Atwood Otterbein Church congregation. His “Releasing for Lent” series is well underway and last Sunday focused on “Releasing Superiority” and looked at John 4:5-42 from the interesting perspective of the disciples.
The annual Easter Egg Hunt for toddlers through 6th grade will take place on Saturday afternoon, March 23rd beginning at 1 p.m. All are welcome and light refreshments will be served.
Palm Sunday service will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday March 24th in the Sanctuary. Worshipers are encouraged to come early for coffee and stay late for snacks and fellowship. Adult Bible Study with Patsianne Harrold will take place in the sanctuary following the service. The group is currently studying 1 John.
Easter Sunday, March 31st, will begin with sunrise service at 7:00 a.m. followed by breakfast in Fellowship Hall. Pastor’s Easter celebration will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Atwood Otterbein Church, a Global Methodist Church, is located at 306 East Main Street in Atwood. All are welcome to attend the services.
