LEESBURG — Kevin Carr said he wants his and wife Elizabeth Carr’s business, Carr Tech, to be “the first stop before the body shop.”

The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce celebrated the business’ new location at 6279 N. SR 15, Leesburg, with a ribbon-cutting on Friday, March 8.

Carr Tech had operated out of 904 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, for six years, but had to move as the owners of the building the Carrs were renting opted to sell the facility, said Kevin.

Carr Tech opened in Leesburg in December. As the business does “a lot” of work for Warsaw dealerships on the north side of the city, the new location is ideal, said Kevin.

Carr Tech’s five employees do wraps and detailing for vehicles.

“Our No. 1 (service) is paintless dent repair and hail removal for insurance companies,” added Kevin. “No. 2 is paintless clear coat repair, so instead of doing your traditional cutting and buffing, we have a paintless method to restore cars … It’s a wipe-on clear coat that hardens.”

“We also have some traditional repairs,” he said. “We don’t do heavy collision, but we’ll paint cars that have light damage.”

People are welcome to stop by the business from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
